Using this site means you accept what is below. It is short, because the site is free, sells nothing and asks you for nothing.

What this site is

phasmotic.studio publishes free games made by Phasmotic, LLC. Each game lives at its own address and runs in your browser. There is no store, no account, no purchase and no subscription, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell you anything.

What you may do with the games

Play them, as much as you like, and send the link to anybody. The games are published free specifically so that a link is all somebody needs. You do not need our permission to share a link, embed one in a post, or write about a game here.

What you may not do is take a game apart and publish it as your own: re-hosting a copy, bundling one into an app or a compilation, stripping the studio's name off it, or selling access to it. If you want to do something the paragraph above does not obviously cover, ask.

Ownership

The Phasmotic name and mark, the games published here, and this site's layout, artwork and source code belong to Phasmotic, LLC. Fonts and any other third-party components are used under their own licences, which are recorded in the repository this site is built from.

Availability

This is a small studio's website. Games may be changed, moved or taken down, and the site may be unavailable while that happens. Nothing here is offered with an uptime commitment, and a game being available today is not a promise that it will be available tomorrow.

No warranty

The site and the games are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent the law allows. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phasmotic, LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything published on it.

Privacy

This site collects nothing about you. The detail is on the privacy page, and it is short for the same reason this page is.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

Changes

These terms are updated when the site starts doing something they do not describe — the first published game will be such a moment. The current version always lives at this address, and the date at the top is how you tell it changed.
